The ATZ (Adjustment To Zero) feature is another standout function of this app. It enables shooters to precisely adjust their turrets to achieve a perfect zero with minimal rounds fired. Whether shooting at any range or utilizing different turret options, ATZ dynamically guides the shooter's adjustment process.
The workflow of Ballistic-X is straightforward:
- Take an image of the target (using the app's built-in camera or selecting from the Library).
- Designate the reference size via Settings (default size is 1").
- Mark two points on the target that align with the reference (grid target or steel target). The distance between these points represents the reference size.
- Input the distance from the target.
- Select the caliber used.
- Mark the Point of Aim and Impacts.
- Add Overlay, Label, Crop, and Export/Share.
- Adjust the Optic based on ATZ instructions.
